Apple Final

The final of my apple.  This was probably the hardest project of the entire semester.  I have to admit, this is probably my worst so far.  It doesn't look dreadful, but it isn't perfect and could use some work.  I blame is mostly on my inability to paint anything.  At least you can tell it's an apple!

Getting there

It looks a little better.  Today I mostly tried to add more detail and you can see some small differences.  I still need to mess around more with the red streaks.

Looks more like a Peach...

This is the beginning of my apple project.  It is obviously a very rough and unfinished version.  I still need to do a lot of blending and add more detail like the red lines.  I guess that will wait until next class.

Another Apple Project

Our next project is to paint an apple in photoshop, from scratch.  This is the refrence photo I will be using.  I just took it with my camera and I think painting all of the colors will be fun!

I also forgot to post these so I'm doing it now.  These are the five finished backgrounds that I like most.  I think they all turned out really good!

Finished Sphere

I am really proud of this.  I managed to put the table reflection in and add some shadows underneath.  They look almost identical if you ask me!  Can't wait for the next project.

Edit:  I ended up fixing the size of the shadow and a few other things as well just for touch up purposes.

Circles!

Today we started a little project to make a sphere using the photoshop brush.  It's difficult at first, but after a little experimenting I am getting used to it.  This is what I have so far as practice with the reference in the corner.
